This series of pictures have been inspired by the homonym literary essay written by professor of sociology Vanni Codeluppi. According to the author “biocapitalism” is an ideology that is developing and expanding rapidly in our contemporary consumerist society. Linking the human lives (bios) and the capitalist economic system, this social phemomenon reflects how the capitalism tries to influence our daily life in a biological, mental and affective way.
